Last week, we started a new series on the things Biotechs need to grow and thrive.

We continued that conversation this week with Resources… and had a great conversation with Jason Cordiero, MassBio's Chief Operating and Innovation Officer.

MassBio just released its 5-year strategic plan today, and let me tell you, the plan is exciting! It’s also not just for Massachusetts companies, with initiatives to create access and opportunity for companies outside of the traditional Cambrdige hub.

One of my favorite new MassBio initiatives is their plan to train and empower new investors. We all know that biotech investing can be tricky, but we need to attract new funding to the field. Teaching investors how to evaluate opportunities and partner with companies is going to be a powerful way to support our industry.
